Larger than typical tipis of the tribe, this is where the chief and his or her family reside. Counsel is not often had here however it is one of the more centrally located tipis of the camp.

Located near the Chiefs tipi, this is where the Shaman lives, and cares for the injured. Due to it being both home and an area of healing and visions, it is a solidly built hut rather than a tipi as the rest of the tribe has. It is broken down every season with the wood and straw being burned as an offering for safe travels to the next campsite.

During times of attack women and children who are unable to defend themselves are recommended to gather here if hiding on the surrounding plains is not an option.

This is the camps major fire. Typically it is kept burning at all times throughout the day and night. It is the job of the elderly members of the tribe to tend the fire to keep it from dying, and for the younger members to gather and bring the firewood.

Most nights the tribe gathers here as a whole to share their days and commune with their neighbors. Many events are held around the camp fire, from celebrations to gatherings of the counsel, as well as prophecies from the Shaman.

There is little order to the tipis of the Thunderfoot camp- the only generalization being that the younger members and families lives towards the outer edges of the camp, moving inwards as they become older and wiser.

Board Information & Statistics

ThunderFoot Camp
The ThunderFoot Tribe lives primarily on the prairie-lands of Elohi, with sparse patches of trees and scrubland, they feel most at home here. Having a more of a nomadic lifestyle, the camp tends to change locations dependent on the seasons, moving from north to south as the year progresses from summer to winter. Their locations are often easy to defend against settlers and rival tribes thanks to the few locations available for raiders to hide.
