description.

slender and of average height, naira is a rose among wildflowers. standing at a respectable five-foot-four, she is very much the feline aspect. with small hands, well made for climbing nimbly through the trees and handling smaller weapons with ease, she exudes grace and elegance. while she is dwarfed by many, particularly the men and other from rival tribes, her size does not mean she is one to be underestimated, her speed and skill making up for what she lacks in sheer strength and size, making her a deadly foe that springs from the shadows.

like most of the women of her tribe naira prefers to leave her hair long and loose, the soft locks hanging well past her shoulders in a black waterfall. occasionally she will pull it up into a leather thong with intricate braids, sometimes sticking bits of bright feathers in her hair to mark her as separate from the other members of her tribe or weaving strings of rainbow-jewelry traded from the cavekeeper tribe through the thick tresses.

her eyes nearly match her hair, so dark they near black and rarely miss a thing with their sharp sight. at a young age naira mastered the art of clearing her emotions from her face, including her eyes, making them impassive dark pools, where one could drown in their midnight depths before extracting even the smallest hint of emotion. they are a beautiful almond shape, settled under delicately arched brows that match the color of her hair.

long and sleek, naira maintains her grace and elegance, in comparison to the others of her tribe, she is of average size, her legs not giving her any great height, though her physic makes her one of the more deadly members. with a thick black coat that obscures the layer of thick rippling muscles below, she is often not paid much heed in battle, giving her the element of surprise. like a fish swimming down the river, she slips through the boughs of the forest unnoticed, a dark shadow against the background, barely disturbing the leaves as she passes. with large paws, each adorned with dagger like claws, she can easily dispatch smaller creatures with a single blow, or shred larger enemies to ribbons before using her jaws as an iron vice. it takes little effort for her to crush bone with her strong jaws, making it easy for her to carry her prey to higher ground- typically into the branches of a tall tree with little effort on her part. large round ears catch even the tiniest squeak like a satellite dish, able to rotate nearly completely around in the blink of an eye, there is rarely a sound she misses from any direction making ambushing her a deadly task.

naira is well suited to be chief of her tribe in some ways- she has the strong will, and the brains to make a good chief. independence is usually thought to be one of her promoting attributes; she doesn't need anyone to affirm that her decisions are the correct ones because she knows in her heart that they are. she prefers to do things by herself as she knows she can get the job done the way she wants it done versus having to go back in an adjust it afterwards to her liking.
loyal to the core there is never anything that could be done to make her turn on her tribe, her family or her friends. she is ferociously protective of her tribe, going through great lengths to keep it safe and thriving. she holds loyalty above all else, expecting others to live up to her standards to remain so no matter what the cost. it is a core belief for her, molding her every step towards providing for the nightstalker tribe.
like the mighty oaks their camp is built upon, her will is as strong as the ancient boughs. never wavering it takes great convincing and a silver to have her change her mind on anything. having her change her beliefs is like trying to push a mountain, it will never fall. naira holds fast to her choices, believing in them wholeheartedly, this can be a downfall as well, while she is known to sit and think things through for a very long time, it is within human nature to miss things, and she has to be shown how or why things can go wrong before she would consider making a change to her plans.
naira is as clever as the cat she is- often finding new ways to do things or seeing the solution to a problem when no others can. her ideas are usually solid and well-founded. she is a master at making snap decisions when the situation calls, and typically these are the right things to do, and while everyone is subject to error, it rarely befalls her sharp mind. she does not suffer from indecision, wavering between one idea and the next often.
she takes great pride in everything she does. she often believes a task is simply not worth doing if you cannot take pride in the end result because of the effort and courage put into it. everything she does, she does well, so as to fulfill her need to take pride in every action.
to the other tribes, she is known as the seductress. while there is nothing in the world that could ever convince her to sleep with a member of a rival tribe, she portrays this attitude quite often- typically being when she wants something someone else has. naira is able to lay on the charm in thick coats, warm and smooth, with a silver tongue. resisting her takes a will equal to her own which few are lucky to possess. it is said she could charm diamonds from stone with just a single look.

while blessed with wonderful traits from the gods, every creation has its downfall. arrogance and vanity are shown on the back of the playing cards. because of her proud nature, it can often go too far, leaving her believing she is the best, and brightest, the boldest. and while in some ways she can be, every shining star must fall to earth one day. she allows her arrogance to make decisions for her sometimes, and while it never gets in the way of her taking care of her tribe, it can often land her in situations that require a lot of out of the box thinking to get her out of. usually by herself.
due to her solitary nature, she is most often found by herself in the forest, preferring the company of only the trees to that of other members. this has put her in more dangerous positions than she cares to admit, with run ins with trespassers to being stuck in the odd precarious place requiring a lot of creative thinking to escape, which of course she will be too proud to ever admit needing help in the first place.
naira is very controlling; having to have everything be her way or no way at all. this puts a strain on her personal relationships, making them hard to maintain because of her domineering she is over everything. but if things are not done her way, exactly as she would do it, it causes her great stress, which channels into her explosive anger. she has a bad habit of locking away all negative emotions, bottling them up until a volcano erupts.
